Miracles for Latin America
A Course in Miracles® is beyond reach for many people in Latin America -- and other countries -- because of the cost of the book itself. In Argentina, the expense can run from 200 to 250 pesos or about $100 US dollars. For some working people that is their entire salary for a month.
People often Xerox copies, which is cheaper than buying the book, but can you imagine carrying around a stack of pages larger than 6 big metropolitan telephone books? One ACIM meeting we attended was functioning without a book or Xerox copies. They only had selected pages and lessons. We gave them the Course in Spanish and they were deeply grateful.
